The sixth SEAD Global Efficiency Medal competition identified and recognized highly energy-efficient industrial lighting luminaires from LumoLumen.
The LumoLumen POLARIS high and low bay luminaires have been awarded the Global Efficiency Medal in the category industrial lighting on August 31st.

It is LumoLumen’s mission to be the leading supplier of highly efficient and innovative LED applications. The winning POLARIS products achieve extraordinary efficiency through innovative mechanics and electronics engineering.

The Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) Initiative is a voluntary collaboration among 17 governments working to promote the manufacture, purchase, and use of energy-efficient appliances, lighting, and equipment worldwide. At its core, SEAD is about governments working together to save energy, turning knowledge into action to advance global market transformation for energy efficient products.

‘We are very proud to have been awarded these global medals as it independently confirms our claim to be the most energy efficient luminaire on the market today. As the process involved rigurous third party testing winning the medals also confirms the fact that the POLARIS has a unique design and quality. We fully support the SEAD initiative as we all need to educate the market that it is important to go for the highest possible efficiency and quality when buying product today, not just the lowest cost. Especially keeping in mind that LED products will last much longer than traditional light sources did. High efficiency leads to the best possible return on investment for the endusers.’ sais Jurjen van der Honing, Managing Director of LumoLumen b.v..
